Coach Dooley

For any of you UT fans out there, below is a link to the 3 part segment that wbir did on Coach Dooley at the annual Tip-Off club and it is pretty good. All three segments are close to 40 minutes or so but well worth it. The more and more I listen to this guy, the more and more I get excited about the future at UT. Anyway, check it out.

I heard the same thing about ole lane kiffin...... where is he again? O that's right not at UT

Very good post, I appreciate it. I think Dooley has a lot of class and seems to have surrounded himself with some great coaches. I feel he will be successful, especially since his mom calls him PRECIOUS....

Ummmm no! You can't even compare the two when looking back. Dooley hasn't committed any violations during first public outing.

And speaking of Kiffin and USC. How tough will the NCAA be on USC with the current investigation. USC had to go in front of the NCAA Infractions Committee from Feb 19-22 and within 6 weeks their punishment should be dealt. I personally don't think they rule the iron fist but some sources have said they will get 3 years of reduced scholarships, probation, no postseason, nor TV. I don't think it will be that bad but it would be nice if the NCAA would do something to punish them with what has gone on out there the past decade.

I have heard this wasn't the normal investigation, "THE HERD",, says that it will be longer than 6 weeks,, 6 weeks is the norm,, but the guy from NCAA that had been doing these investigations for 11 years says it will take 8-12 weeks... sorry can't remember the name of the NCAA investigator. I hope the investigation finds that all the recruiting that USC can do is for 13 year olds.

I would like to see USC and Lane Kiffin both go down hard. USC because i hate them and Lane because of what he did to UT. Fan or not that was low

I too would love to see USC go down hard, not because of Kiffin but it would make it even funnier.

Coach Dooley has class because he played for a great college coach at a great university, UVA! So all you TN fans need to thank UVA and Welsh for helping create a class act, and thank UVA for not hiring him so you all could get him. He will be there for years to come. Great hire TN.

Dooley is great, ive said it before and will say it again, in three years, people will realize that Dooley is an UPGRADE over Kiffin.

his dad was a good offensive mind, and he worked under the best defensive coach in CFB at LSU with Saban and Muschamp.
